Voicecraft Dispatch - Energy, Psychedelics, Mystery
Sharing a recent podcast, tickets for a Melbourne event TOMORROW (Friday 31), and a pre-release film for the Consilience conference
All the things hey. Wishing you well.
This is a quick update to share a recent podcast, tickets to Voicecraft Live III | The Future of Psychedelics in Australia, and a pre-release presentation (filmed on the outskirts of a festival) for the Consilience conference which was shared a few weeks ago.
The podcast
The most recent release on the Voicecraft podcast welcomed the extraordinary communicator Nate Hagens, Director of The Institute for the Study of Energy & Our Future, an organization focused on educating and preparing society for the coming cultural transition.
So far I’ve heard the piece has been well-received in its exploration of humanity's deep relation with energy in the context of fossil fuels, growth, climate, and meaning in life.
What does the future of our relation with growth and energy look like?
And for those who prefer audio only:
The event
You may recall this event from the last Voicecraft dispatch: Voicecraft Live III: The Future of Psychedelics in Australia. Tickets are still available HERE. It takes place TOMORROW, Friday evening 31st Match.
It welcomes several guests, including Melissa Warner, Cameron Duffy, and Dr Alani Roy. Find out more about the guests using the link above. I will be hosting the evening.
The unlisted film
I’m not sure about this one — whether, perhaps, the context of address is a little too specific, and even then it might still be something a bit strange. Or I’m just a madman.
Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable moment in time in a profound setting, and while the message isn’t quite complete, maybe there’s something here, or not.
If anyone does find something worthwhile here, it would be nice to know.
Find out about he UTOK conference and the work of Gregg Henriques, (several time guest on the pod) which occurred earlier in March here.
Consilience: Unifying Knowledge and Orienting Toward a Wisdom Commons is an online conference bringing together leading figures who will share their visions, values, and practices for cultivating knowledge and wisdom in the 21st century. The gathering is structured to build connections and afford opportunities for this emerging community to come together, and share perspectives and dialogue about how we might orient toward living more wisely.
To moments of return. Thank you to everyone I’ve been in relation with this month.
